Pandora author, Lloyd Harnishfeger, talks about his books on July 23
Pandora author, Lloyd Harnishfeger, will talk about his publishing experiences and will have a book signing at 6 p.m., Thursday, July 23, at the Bluffton Public Library.
A discussion time will follow his presentation. His books may be purchased and signed.
Harnishfeger is the author of 10 books and numerous periodical articles. For this talk, the author will focus on four of his novels:
• Black Swamp Wolf, a novel set in Northwest Ohio’s Great Black Swamp some 6,000 years ago
• Tom Bluefoot, “Mad Anthony” Wayne, and the Battle of Fallen Timbers, a historical novel about a critical time in American history
• Tom Bluefoot, Tecumseh, and the War of 1812, a sequel to his previous work that follows the author’s protagonist “Tom Bluefoot,” a member of the Wyandot Native American tribe
• Treasure on Beaver Island, a novel set in the 1940s (a time when gasoline was 22-cents per gallon).
Harnishfeger is a retired teacher with a lifelong avocation of studying and collecting early American artifacts - especially those found locally. The program is free and open to the public.
