A pumpkin patch full of kindergartners

Makes for an interesting photo essay by Jamie Nygaard

noun: pumpkin; plural noun: pumpkins
1.
a large rounded orange-yellow fruit with a thick rind, edible flesh, and many seeds.
2.
the plant of the gourd family that produces the pumpkin, having tendrils and large lobed leaves and native to warm regions of America.

kin·der·gar·ten - ˈkindərˌɡärtn,ˈkindərˌɡärdn/ - noun
noun: kindergarten; plural noun: kindergartens
A school or class that prepares children for first grade. A child in kindergarten is typically 5 or 6 years old.

Put pumpkins and kindergarteners together in the Suter pumpkin patch, rural Bluffton, and watch for interesting things to take place.

Jamie Nygaard followed along with Bluffton kindergarteners earlier this week on their first-ever pumpkin patch visit.

Her photos below tell the story.
