Blanchard River Watershed Partnership annual meeting Nov. 8
The 2017 annual meeting of the Blanchard River Watershed Partnership (BRWP) is Wednesday, Nov. 8, at the Hancock County Agriculture Center on CR 140 in Findlay.
The meeting will start at 7 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. The program starts at 7:30 a.m. Updates and review of the work of the BRWP in 2017 will be presented.
The guest speaker for the meeting will be Dr. Laura Johnson, director of the National Center for Water Quality Research, Heidelberg University. Dr. Johnson will give an update on their work and how they are helping with the algal bloom problem in Lake Erie, and impact the Blanchard River watershed has on it.

The BRWP represents the six counties of the Blanchard River Watershed including Riley Creek and is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving water quality through citizen involvement and the writing of NPS - IS plans.
