Conversation and film on "Selma"

At the public library March 21

The Bluffton Public Library will host a "conversation and film" showing "Selma," at the library at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 21.

Prior to the movie, students from Bluffton University's Multicultural Student Organization (MSO), led by faculty Tyson Goings, will share a presentation, followed by a talk and Q&A with former Ohio Northern University staff members Monty Siekerman and Alfred Cohoe.

Siekerman and Cohoe were in attendance during Dr. King's talk on ONU's campus shortly before the events from the film took place (in 1968).

After the conversation, stay for the movie and popcorn.  Refreshments are made available by Bluffton Public Library, and due to space limitations, registration is required.

Registrants who are under the age of 18 must have a permission slip signed by their legal guardian to attend due to the movie's rating (PG-13).

Registrants are welcome to attend the conversation at 5 p.m. even if they are unable to attend the film showing afterwards.
