Beaver sophomore named HCAC football player of the week

Sophomore Stephan Kosakowski (Cleveland/Benedictine) and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Football Player of the Week on defense.

It marked the second straight week that a Bluffton football player has been honored by the HCAC. Adam Duncan (Northwood/Lake) was the Heartland Conference Special Teams Player of the Week following his all-around performance at Trine.
Kosakowski tallied 8.0 total tackles with two interceptions and one pass breakup in the 34-0 victory at Earlham. He anchored a Beaver defense that held the Quakers to 15 yards on the ground.

The Bluffton University football team (1-2, 1-0 HCAC) will host Hanover College (0-2, 0-0 HCAC) on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
