Author program featuring business professor

Oct. 18 in Musselman Library

Bluffton University will host an author program for Dr. Hamid Rafizadeh, professor of business, at 4 p.m. on Oct. 18 in the Musselman Library’s Reading Room.

Rafizadeh has written a number of books including “The Choice Maker,” “The Sucker Punch of Sharing,” “The First Rung,” The Unexpected Unseen,” and “Here Comes the Watchman.” During his presentation, he will give an overview of each book, some of which are written in a scholarly format while the others novel format.

The books and Rafizadeh’s presentation focus on the foundations of human life, The Sermon on the Mount and decision making.

Rafizadeh earned his Ph.D. from MIT, going on to earn a master of humanities degree and an MBA. He has worked in a wide array of fields—from engineer to corporate executive to university professor.

He joined Bluffton’s faculty in 2005, and teaches primarily in the MBA program.
