Visiting Bluffton scored early and often to post a 9-2 softball non-league win over Arcadia Tuesday evening.
Bluffton improved to 8-1 overall with the win, while the Redskins fell to 3-5 with the defeat.
Pirate hurler Libby Schaadt improved her record to 7-1 with a complete-game, four-hit effort. She struck out 10 Redskins and walked none.
Bluffton raced to a 7-0 lead after two innings and was never threatened. Arcadia scored its only two runs in the bottom of the fourth on a pair of solo home runs by Breana Reinhart and Lanei Rodriguez.
In addition to her fine pitching, Schaadt led the 13-hit Pirate offense with a home run, four runs batted in and a single.
Pirates Sophie Bricker and Madison Fleece each contributed two hits. Averey Rumer also collected two base hits and scored twice.
Brinkley Garmatter knocked out two hits and scored a pair of runs. Alivia Koenig singled and scored twice.
