Pirates basketball fans hold on to your seats.

Another dream team heads this way quicker than you can intercept a mid-court pass and score on a fast-break layup.

Coaches Chris Ackerman and Chad Osborne led this year’s 7th grade boys’ team to a 19-0 record. Here's part of the story:

The team won the Northwest Conference 7th grade basketball tournament on Feb. 15.

They defeated Crestview in the finals by a score of 48-35. Bluffton finished the season with an 8-0 conference record and a 19-0 overall record.

The season was filled with high points as the team had only two games won by less than 10 points (1 point last-second shot by Brody Sommers over Columbus Grove and then a 40-35 win over Crestview earlier in the season).

And, watch out for the eighth grade team
The 8th grade boys' team finished with a strong and much-improved season with a 6-2 conference record and an 11-7 overall record. They were defeated in the semi-final game by eventual NWC champions Columbus Grove Bulldogs.
