Remember the March Ohio primary?

Results finally certified and here's how local precincts voted

March 17 and even April 28 seem such a long time ago.

Ohio’s primary election, originally set for March 17, was postponed by the state due to the Covid-19 virus. It was extended to April 28. And on May 14 the Allen County board of elections certified the results.

Local responses ranged from only 10 to 32 percent of registered voters in Bluffton, Richland and Beaverdam precincts who cast ballots.

The results follow:

For Sunday sales: Voting for 172 – Voting against 69
For weekday sales: Voting for 204 – Voting against 39

Most of the other races had local candidates running unopposed. Even the president primary races by April 28 were sewed up by President Trump and Joe Biden. However, several Democrat presidential candidates continued to be listed on the ballot.

Below are results showing how precincts in Bluffton, Richland Township and Beaverdam cast ballots for races of local interest, including:
• Presidential races
• Allen County commissioners’ race
• Democrat congressional race
