Dan Groman brings vintage Chevy driving tour to Bluffton

Owners and their vehicles will gather here on Saturday, June 20

You know what they say: See the U.S.A. in your Chevrolet.

And, anyone who know Dan Groman easily associates him with a beautiful 1954 Chevrolet 210. It's a Bluffton original – once owned by Mrs. C. Henry Smith and later by Zoe Hauenstein.

Groman informs the Icon that the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America has official formed a local Region in the Lima area – it’s called the Western Buckeye Region – to allow area VCCA members from northwestern Ohio to meet with others that enjoy Chevrolets of all eras.

The Region plans a driving tour on Saturday, June 20, starting and ending near Buckeye in Bluffton.

Groman says that car owners with gathering at the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool parking lot.

“We will leave from there and go south through Bluffton around 10 a.m.,” he said, “Probably coming back into Bluffton from South Dixie after 2 or 2:30 p.m. and stopping at the Dari Freeze before concluding or tour at the pool.

The VCCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of all Chevrolets, with 80 local regions throughout North America and a few countries overseas.
