Last week at an online conference, Ken Dychtwald, founder, the Age Wave, gave a presentation on Fatherhood. Ken’s suggestions applied to men and how they could be more active and involved with the younger generations.
Haleigh Kohli, a Bluffton High School senior, is the Icon's student artist of the month.
Haleigh has taken several art classes including Art One, Design One, Photography, Mural Painting, Advanced Photography and Art Seminar.
Following high school Haleigh's plans to attend the University of Findlay and pursue a career in pharmacy.
Here's how she describes her work in this photo:
"This art project was a self portrait and I decided to combine my two favorite media, acrylic and film," she said.
Bluffton voters lined the hallway of the Bluffton elementary school when polls opened at 6:30 a.m. There was a 10-minute wait and eventually the stream slowed. This year in addition to a photo ID, voter's temperatures are taken before entering to vote. Poll worker Deb Beer checks the temperature of the next-in-line voter.

Mary Louise Huffer, 98, died Nov. 2, 2020, at Willow Ridge - Frieda House in Bluffton. Mary Louise was born Jan. 30, 1922, in Gomer to the late Emerson and Martha Ann (Griffith) Clevenger. On Oct. 14, 1942, she married Donald "Burt" Huffer who preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1989.
Mary Louise graduated from Gomer High School and attended Northwestern Business College in Lima. She had worked at the Lima Tank Depot during World War II and later as the head cook at Gomer Schools for 18 years. Mary Louise attended the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene.
