The Creating Healthy Communities project of the Allen County Health Department is looking for smoke-free housing units in Allen County. 

If your housing unit has a smoke-free policy in place, please let the health department know. Contact Shelly Miller at 419-228-4457, ext. 151 or email [email protected]

The churches of Pandora and Gilboa are offering food boxes for households in the Pandora-Gilboa School District. 

The boxes are designed to provide nine meals for a family of four. In order to pick up a box, you must register by calling 419-384-3038 by 5 p.m. on Monday, July 22. 

Boxes will be available to be picked up on Saturday, July 27, at 11 a.m. at the Grace Mennonite Church located at 502 East Main Street, Pandora.

Bluffton will be swimming knee-deep in visitors on Friday and Saturday – 2,000+ visitors!

The Bluffton Community Swimming Pool is host to the league meet of the Western Ohio Aquatic League (WOAL). Bluffton officials putting on the meet anticipate between 500 and 600 swimmers (between the ages of 4 and 18). Add parents and fans and there will be 2000-plus visitors in town.
