Cool is right! Two young swimmers have figured out that the coolest place in Bluffton on hot June days is under the umbrella of the Bluffton Community Swimming Pool.

This IS Bentley Road looking south to what would become the split interchange that was part of the first, two lane only Bluffton bypass.
The house at the right, unoccupied by then, stood at spot where Beaver Street came out to the Bentley Road. It was vacant then, already sold to the state for the highway project.

Walter L. Hartley, 63 died at 10:55 a.m. June 10, 2013, at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. He was born Jan. 13, 1950, in Hancock County to the late Leroy and Helen (Snyder) Hartley. On Oct. 13, 1991 he married Linda Dillon and she survives.
He had worked as a maintenance man at 1 Amazing Place, Findlay. He had previously worked at Centrex and had done construction work for W.R. Manley both of Findlay.
