A summer fundraiser by Bluffton Diamond Sports will provide 26 raffle drawings in June where participants could win anywhere from $25 or $50.
Here's how it works:
Raffle tickets are available at $10 each. Each ticket purchased is good for cash drawings every Monday through Saturday for the month of June, making 26 drawings. There are no drawings on Sundays. The prize value of each day is listed on each ticket. Each ticket has the ability to be a multiple winner through the entire month.
Hey, do you guys have Sportsmen's Club licenses? A mother duck and her babies crashed the party at Sunday's trout derby. These birds ignored the rules and fished for whatever they could find while the derby took place.
Hey bicycle riders. Interested in a "group ride"? According to Raymond and Liz Harner of CG Pro Bikes, Columbus Grove, two group rides are planned next week.
Here's the plan:
Monday, May 14, at 6 p.m. the group ride departs from the CG Pro Bikes parking lot, and all are welcome. All ages and skill levels. These are 'No Drop' rides, meaning no one gets left behind. The group generally stays in a pack.
And on Thursday, May 17, at 6 p.m. the group ride from the bike shop will be a "ladies only" ride.
