The watercolor art of four female artists from Findlay, will be displayed in "Women in Water," an exhibition opening Monday, Jan. 9, in the Grace Albrecht Gallery of Bluffton University's Sauder Visual Arts Center.
Continuing through Jan. 28, the exhibit is free and open to the public, as is a reception for the artists from 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 22. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
Tom Hafer, a physical therapist and ordained pastor from Cape Coral, Fla., will discuss "Fitness as a Spiritual Discipline" in a Bluffton University Forum at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, in Founders Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.
The chorus for Bluffton University's spring Bach Festival will rehearse at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning Jan. 10, in the Gilliom Room of Mosiman Hall on campus. This year's performance will feature Haydn's "Mass in Time of War." Rehearsals will continue until the festival performance at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, in Yoder Recital Hall.
The first community meal of 2012 is hosted by St. Mary's Catholic Church. The meal is at 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 5, at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center. The dinner is free and open to the public, sponsored by the Bluffton Inter Church Board.
