If “It’s A Wonderful Life” is one of your all-time favorite Christmas movies, you are in luck.
Bluffton Icon will sponsor two free showings of the 1946 classic featuring the all-star cast of James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore on Friday, Nov. 23, at the Shannon Theatre.
The free showings are at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and are part of this year’s Blaze of Lights event.
Nominate Bluffton greatest musician!
Icon viewers have the opportunity to nominate Bluffton’s greatest musician during the holiday season.
Bluffton High School volleyball coach, Kevin King, will coach the east all-stars at this year’s District 8 all-star Division IV volleyball team match.
This year’s games are at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Coldwater High School Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students.
King shares east coaching duties with Brent Newell of Leipsic. Coaching the west team is Chelsea Kahlig of Fort Recovery and Morgan Strayer of New Knoxville.
Katie Prater of Bluffton, Addilyn Diller of Pandora-Gilboa and Hannah Willow of Arlington are local players on the east team.

St. John’s UCC beef and noodle dinner
St. John's United Church of Christ, 223 W. College Ave., will hold a beef and noodle dinner from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., at the church. Persons may dine in or take out. The menu includes homemade noodles, beef, mashed potatoes, green beans, apple sauce, roll, assorted pies, beverage. Cost is: adults: $8; 6th grade-college: $5; elementary: $4; Pre-K: free.
Mercy Health is pleased to announce the expansion of its Shawnee Family Medicine team with the addition of Mark T. Mueller, MD, Jamie Reindel CNP, Jessica Kaufman CNP and Timothy Mosher CNP.
Mark T. Mueller received his Doctor of Medicine from University of Toledo College of Medicine. He has been a Physician for Mercy Health for seven years. Dr. Mueller did his residency at Fairview General Hospital in the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
