Twenty-five Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members will display their products and services to Bluffton University students on Thursday during the chamber’s University Business Showcase.
The annual event takes place in Marbeck Center dining area while university students are at lunch.
Participating businesses have display tables in the dining area. Most of the businesses have drawings and give-a-ways, so the event is always popular among students.
The Bluffton community’s 11th annual Fall Festival, with many family-oriented activities, takes place throughout the community on Saturday, Sept. 27, according to Daren Lee of Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio, who coordinates the festival.
Clergy, social workers, counselors, nurses, physicians and community health workers are invited to attend a workshop on providing psychosocial and spiritual care to cancer survivors from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11 in the Marathon Auditorium at Blanchard Valley Hospital, 1900 S. Main St., Findlay. Social work continuing education credits will be offered to those in attendance.
