Bluffton is featured in the current e-mailed Lima/Allen County Convention and Visitors' Bureau Community Calendar of Events. The calender has previously been a mailed piece. It is now available by e-mail.
The calendar lists activities held in Allen County that are open to the public. The Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce lists several items taking place in Bluffton throughout the year in the Calendar of Events.

BFR Sports & Fitness is offering a boot camp style class. TBC is similar to P90X, Crossfit and Insanity. Each workout is different and under the supervision of a staff trainer. Kettle bells, medicine balls, stability ball, free weights, and body weight will be used. Modification can be made for those who need it.
Classes are Monday -Friday 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m., Monday and Wednesday 5:30 to 6 p.m., and Tuesday and Thursday 12:10 to 12:40 pm. Classes are free for BFR members and $5 for non members or you can purchase an aerobics card.
This was the scene on July 3 on Mound Street prior to power line repair. Residents of the neighborhood cleaned up the tree on Friday to make it easier for the crews when they arrive, yet it took several days to resolve the situation, according to residents of Mound.
On July 3 members from the Bluffton American Legion Post cleaned up storm debris at the Steinmetz residence on South Main Street. The trees that fell where from the home of Melvena Lewis. Her husband " Dutch" was a WWII veteran. Members from the post who assisted were Dennis Morrison, Tom Benroth, Tom Craig, Bob Amstutz and Sam Reineke. Bob Amstutz is in this photo.
The Bluffton Area Ministerial Association will sponsor this event to be held on Sunday, July 29, at 9 a.m. The theme is "For the Beauty of the Earth" and the service will continue the VBS theme from the previous week.
This year, there will be only one offering taken, and that will be for the community food pantry.
The usual snack of grapes and muffins will be offered. Worshippers are invited to bring some if you are able. All extra grapes and muffins will be donated to Our Daily Bread Food Pantry of Lima. Also, be sure to bring your lawn chair.
