Citizens National Bank now offers mobile banking to its customers. This free service is available to all CNB customers enrolled in online banking. 

There are three options for accessing account information through a mobile device:

Mobile App - a downloadable app for iPhone and Android smartphone users.

Browser-based - this is the version of mobile banking you may access by browsing to a specific url provided at enrollment and logging into online banking as you would through your computer.

Jonathan Cooley, a graduate-assistant football coach at Bluffton University, is among 30 invitees to the NCAA Future Football Coaches Academy Jan. 6-8 in Nashville, Tenn.

The academy is for individuals who have recently completed their collegiate eligibility and want to coach college football.

Cooley was a four-year letterman at John Carroll University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2011.

The following are a list of babies reported born at Bluffton Hospital recently.

Nov. 10 - Alexander Hayes Wamen, son of Melissa and Jay Wamen, 19 inches long, 6 pounds and 10 ounces.

Nov. 10 - Asher George Haselman, son of Jeremy and Chelsea Haselman, 20 and a half inches long, 7 pounds and 5 ounces.

Nov. 12 - Connor Martin Frantom, son of Harold Martin and Catherine Rene Frantom, 20 inches long, 8 pounds and 4 ounces.

Peter Suter of Shannon Theatre announced that "Life of Pi" (PG) will be shown at the theatre from December 14-23.

Show times are:

2D shows are every evening at 7:00 pm with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1:30 pm. 3D shows are every evening at 9:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 4:00 pm.

Premiering December 26 will be "Parental Guidence" (PG) for all shows. Shannon Theatre will be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

Carols, Candlelight, and the Christ Child will be the focus of the Christmas Candlelight Services at the Pandora United Methodist Church.

There will be an early service on Thursday, Dec. 20 at 7:00 p.m., with music beginning at 6:30 p.m.  

The Christmas Eve service will be Monday, Dec. 24 at 9:00 p.m. with music beginning at 8:30 p.m.  

Both of these services are patterned after the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. 

Youth for Christ is offering a meal deal on Friday, Dec. 14 from 4 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at BHS.   Come for a meal and stay for the BHS basketball game.

The menu will include 

  • Hot Dog or Barbeque Pork Sandwich
  • Chips
  • Soup
  • Cookie
  • Drink

The suggested donation for this event is $6 with all proceeds going to YFC.

It is now easier to pay Bluffton village utility bills.

The Village of Bluffton has launched its electronic fund tranfer as a method for utility customers to pay their monthly bills.

The winner of The Icon Football Contest 2 cumulative totals is Duane Bollenbacher. He accumulated 69 points to win the title.
