Snow Emergency Classifications from the Ohio Committee for Severe Weather Awareness

From the Bluffton University website:
Essential employees, please report to campus at your regular time. Due to weather and road conditions, morning classes are canceled. Classes begin at noon and offices open at 1 p.m.
Commuter students who feel it is not safe to drive from their home, please be in contact with your professors.

The weather may interfere, but in case it does not, the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a brown bag lunch roundtable discussion from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in the third floor of the town hall.

*Should the event be postponed, a reschedule date of Wednesday, Feb. 12, is in place.

The roundtable's theme continues the chamber's Jan. 17 breakfast discussion of “How can we improve Bluffton?" The discussion is open to any chamber member and Bluffton resident.

The Village of Bluffton anticipates significant snow Tuesday into Wednesday. Because many streets and cul-de-sacs are already inundated with piled snow, village officials ask vehicle owners to remove vehicles from village streets or park on the odd side of the street on Wednesday.

• Vehicles should be parked on the odd side of the street on Wednesday.

• Vehicles should then be parked on the even side of the street on Thursday.
