January 2015

The professor of theatre and communication at Bluffton University also brought back ideas for her classes, including Theatre for Social Change, a class she has developed and is currently teaching for the second time.

The popular painting programs will continue this winter through BFR Sports & Fitness.  Paint & Sip programs are planned for Sunday, Feb. 8 (1:30-4:30 p.m.), Thursday, March 12 (6-9 p.m.) and Thursday, April 9 (6-9 p.m.).

Each event includes instruction from Marilyn Reed of Marilyn’s Artistry, Ada, all art supplies, appetizers and one glass of a specialty, wine beverage.

The February project is a 16x20 floral design in acrylic. The March project will include glass painting on two wineglasses and a decorative caddy.  Plans for April include painting on slate.

Bluffton Sportsmen Club Annual Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, at the Clubhouse on North Spring Street, Bluffton.  Past and future members welcomed.  An All-you-can-eat fish fry is on the agenda.
