The Maple Aires, men’s choir from Maple Crest, will entertain at the Monday, Feb. 12, Bluffton Senior Citizens Association noon dinner meeting, according to Tony Meyer, director.
The meeting is a potluck. The Center will provide sloppy Joes. Persons attending are invited to bring a dish to share in addition to bringing your own place setting.

A spring garage sale is set for Thursday, March 1 through Monday, March 5. It takes place in conjunction with the SHANNON Service Club garage sale that same weekend.
Tickets are now on sale for a Bluffton Family Recreation benefit on Friday, April 6.
Dueling for Dumbbells, a casual night of live entertainment to benefit BFR, takes place at The Centre, 601 N. Main St., Bluffton. The event is from 6 to 11:30 p.m., Friday, April 6.

Lima’s Habitat ReStore seeks volunteers to help move its showroom inventory on two February Saturdays.
The move is in preparation of having its retail floor refurbished, according to Mark Suderman of Bluffton, who serves as the store’s volunteer coordinator.
He said that student groups from Bluffton University and Ohio Northern University are among volunteers who have already signed up to assist.
Up to 50 volunteers are needed each morning and afternoon on both Saturdays, Feb. 17 and Feb. 24.
A comedy-infused Ultimate Date Night takes place at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 10, at Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road.
The evening includes a dinner and performance by the comic team, Jay and Laura Laffoon, who describe themselves as marriage “educ-tainers.”
Their presentation helps couples learn how to create and regularly celebrate a thriving marriage while exploring the realities that everyday life brings to the relationship.
Bluffton Family Recreation, 215 Snider Road, will upgrade the flooring in the Fitness Center and Mezzanine Area from from Friday, Feb. 2, to Thursday, Feb 8.
The Fitness Center will be closed during that period, but some equipment will be accessible on the track.

Matthew Yoder, pastor of Grace Mennonite Church in Pandora, will share “Failure and Spiritual Growth in Myth, Marvel and the Age of Social Media,” during Bluffton University’s Spiritual Life Week Forum on Tuesday, Feb. 13. The lecture begins at 11 a.m. in Bluffton’s Yoder Recital Hall. The presentation is free and open to the public.
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The Bluffton University men’s basketball squad faced off against the Mount St. Joseph Lions in a big HCAC matchup on Copeland Court. Despite a slow start that saw the visitors lead by as many as 10 in the first half, the Beavers rallied to knock off the HCAC-leading Lions 66-64 to move to 9-11 (6-7 HCAC) on the season. MSJ slipped to 13-7 and 10-3 in the conference.
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Bluffton University women’s basketball squad hit the road to compete against the Mount St. Joseph Lions on Wednesday, Jan. 31. After a slow start for both teams, Bluffton would come out in the third quarter with a vengeance on both sides of the basketball as the Beavers dominated, 31-12, in the final two quarters to improve to 15-5 (10-3 HCAC) after picking up a 51-26 win over the Lions.
