Allowing greater number of residents to have private accommodations

As a result of recommendations from a recent market study, the Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio Board of Directors has decided to convert a portion its semi-private rooms to private rooms at two of its Skilled Nursing Facilities – Mennonite Memorial Home in Bluffton and Hilty Home in Pandora.

In all, 20 semi-private rooms across MHCO campuses were converted to private rooms effective Dec. 1, allowing a greater number of  residents to enjoy private accommodations.

Do you know where this building stands today? It was originally Bluffton's Ex-Cell-O plant. There, its employees produced machines that created paper milk cartons.

Today it is Diamond Manufacturing and it stands at the corner of Jefferson Street and the County Line Road.

Leland Gerber, Bluffton photographer took this photo in 1956 when the plant was constructed. Several things to notice:

Several committee meetings are on the Bluffton council schedule this month. These follow:
Finance Committee - Wednesday, Dec. 4 at noon
Council Meeting – Monday, Dec. 9, at 7 p.m.

All meetings are held at the Village’s town hall.

Here's the lunch menu for Bluffton Elementary and Middle schools for the month of December.
