Transition Bluffton program via Zoom - The Secret of Change

The public is invited to join with Transition Bluffton in a Zoom showing of the documentary “The Secret of Change.”

The film visits a number of Transition groups in the UK, Canada, and the US, highlighting some of their activities, successes and challenges.

Following the movie there will be an opportunity for discussion and sharing of ideas for possible activities here in Bluffton.

We will be watching together using the “Zoom” virtual meeting format, each participant from home, using their own device.

You can't take this photo today because all the trees in the university woods block the view.

For movies, music and books

• Can you review movies?
• How about pop singers?
• Or, books?

Do you watch lots of movies and have your own opinions about them?
Do you listen to the latest preforming groups or solo acts ... or know what group is performing where, next?
Do you read book after book after book and have your own thoughts on them?

The Bluffton and Ada Icon seeks reviewers interested in writing movie reviews,  music reviews and book reviews. No, not one to write each of the three; one for movies, one for music, and one for books.

Thanks to the reopening of Shannon Theatre, the Icon's "write a caption" contest is back.

Write a caption for this photo. It's Canada geese crossing Snider Road from The Centre to the swimming pool.

The best caption wins 5 passes to the Shannon Theatre. Send your caption to:

Message line: Caption contest

Deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, June 12. Good luck. May the best caption win.
