FROM BSC HAPPENINGS__The current Tai Chi class at the Bluffton Senior Center will end January 8. The next Tai Chi class will start on February 10 and run for six months.

MEDIA RELEASE__The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reports 11 deaths in eight fatal crashes during the Thanksgiving holiday reporting period, which began at midnight on Wednesday, November 26 and concluded at 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 30.
According to preliminary Patrol statistics, at least two of the eight fatal crashes recorded during the reporting period were OVI-related. In a continued effort to lower that number to zero, troopers made 281 arrests for impaired driving and 38 for drug-related charges.

BLUFFTON__In their season opener, the Bluffton High School boys basketball team lost 61-51 to visiting Miller City on Tuesday, December 2.
The Pirates led 30-25 at halftime after fashioning a 15-9 second quarter. But MC seized the momentum with an 18-8 third-period turnaround. The Wildcats outscored the Pirates 36-21 after intermission to win by 10.
Bluffton begins 0-1, while MC improved to 2-0 with the non-league road victory.
