More than forty organizations--businesses and non-profits--stuffed the cinch saks given out at the 2022 Bluffton Ride to Remember hosted by the Bluffton Lions Foundation.

If you were too tired or too wet to dig into your cinch sack on Saturday, here's what you'll find. Handy gadgets including a clip-on safety light and reflector. Snacks. Pens and a pencil. Key rings. Glasses cleaners and lip balm. Coupons. LOTS of coupons, including one for $50 off. Cinch sack coordinator Jenny Pilarowski estimates that the total value is $190.

Bluffton athlete Trevor Bassitt ran a personal record of 47.39 in the men's 400m hurdles to win a bronze medal at the 2022 World Athletic Championships.

In a field including the Tokyo Olympics gold and silver medalists, Bassitt placed behind Brazil’s Alison Dos Santos and teammate Rai Benjamin, who said he was more excited about Bassitt's bronze than his own silver.

Norwegian Karsten Warholm, who won gold in Tokyo, has only finished two races this season due to injuries and failed to place.
