Here's the 2026 Bluffton Pirate football team roster, just in time for the first game of the season. 

Playing under head coach Jeff Richards, who is also Bluffton's new Elementary School principal, the BHS Varsity football team will play at Benjamin Logan at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 21.

Other key figures in the Pirates' fall athletic season are:

FROM FACEBOOK__The summer is flying by! The August edition of Bluffton Cars & Coffee is Saturday, Aug. 22 from 8:00-11:00 a.m.

This is a free event for enthusiasts and their cars. All makes, models, and years are welcome.

Coffee and pastries are provided by Twisted Whisk Café.

Just two more Cars & Coffee in the 2026 season: September 26 and October 24.

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School girls soccer team defeated visiting non-league foe Anna 1-0 in the Steinmetz Field home opener on Thursday, August 20.

The Pirate girls evened their record at 1-1 with the clean-sheet victory.

Bluffton’s Audra Snyder netted the game’s lone goal in the 17th minute via an assist by Addilyn Shoemaker.

Bluffton directed five of its 10 shots on goal. Four of the eight Rocket shots were on target.

BLUFFTON__The Bluffton High School volleyball team defeated visiting non-league foe Kalida in four sets to celebrate their home opener in style on Thursday, August 20.

The Pirates improved to 1-1 overall with the 25-22, 25-21, 16-25, 25-22 victory.

Karlie Lora paced the winners with 11 kills, 18 digs and one block.

Camryn Fruchey smacked eight kills, dished out nine assists, dealt four aces and made one block.

Taylin Goldman contributed seven kills and 13 digs.

ARCHBOLD__The visiting Bluffton High School boys soccer team came from behind to defeat Archbold 2-1 in a non-league match on Thursday evening, August 20.

The Pirates improved to 2-1 with the comeback win. The Bluestreaks fell to 0-2 after the defeat.

Bluffton controlled much of the play in the first half, yet still found themselves trailing 1-0 at halftime.
