As athletes head back to the field for fall sports, summer temperatures often remain at their peak. Whether you're preparing for football, soccer, cross-country, golf, marching band or other outdoor activities, exercising in hot, humid conditions places extra stress on the body. Without proper preparation, athletes are at greater risk for dehydration, heat-related illness and injury.
MEDIA RELEASE__Tri-County Family Assembly of God of Bluffton will be celebrating 35 years (1991-2026) and Pastor Rev. Terry D. Hunt's 50 years of ministry on August 23.
The celebration will take place at 10:30 a.m. at 835 North Main. The guest speaker is Dr. Mark Elliott, veteran pastor, author, speaker and entrepreneur.
FINDLAY__The Bluffton High School golf team finished 10th out of 11 teams in the tough Liberty-Benton Invitational at Sycamore Springs Golf Course in Findlay on Friday, August 7.
Van Buren won the tournament with 319 strokes, with the Pirates 48 shots off their pace.
Host Liberty-Benton came in second just three strokes behind Van Buren at 322, followed by Sylvania Southview (324), Upper Sandusky (334), Allen East (337) and Bellevue (340).
