The Bluffton High School girls and boys track and field teams both finished a strong second at the annual eight-team Northwest Conference championship meet on Friday, May 15 in Spencerville.

Just in time for summer cruising, 15 Ada Elementary third- and fourth-graders received brand-new bicycles, thanks to a collaborative after-school STEM program sponsored by Ohio Northern University.
In addition to new wheels, helmets, and accessories, the students also gained a foundational understanding of engineering principles, bike maintenance, and biking safety.

FROM BSC HAPPENINGS__Many enter and exit the Bluffton Senior Center through the back door missing out on the new items in the store. Here are a few things patrons can see by visiting the front of the store:
BSC member, George B. has been making items for the 250 Anniversary, including magnets, tissue boxes and trivets. Dave C. has been making woven placemats that are a big seller. Mary and Joy have been making handmade cards for all occasions, which go with the Bluffton postcards for sale.
MEDIA RELEASE_Trinity Lutheran School, Jenera, will celebrate three of its graduates on Sunday, May 24. This service is also to celebrate Pentecost.
Those graduating include Ida Evangeline Falck, Maxwell Chanberlain Falck, and Willow Elyse Jones. The celebration will be part of the 10:30 a.m. service, with the school’s students singing “Grace for Today.” The bible readings will be Acts 2:1-21, 1 Corinthians 12:3-11, and Matthew 28:16-20. The sermon will be based on Matthew 28:16-20, with the theme "God’s Mission Is Your Mission."
