Here's a photo from the Bluffton Public Library archives. Taken in June 1936, it is a group of persons who attended a Triplett Corp. sales meeting.

• R.L. Triplett - front row, white shoes.
• Arden Baker - second row, light suit, dark tie and vest, to the right of R.L. Triplett.
• Norm Triplett - back row, light suit, dark shirt, to the left of Arden Baker.
Janette Benroth Reineke, Bluffton artist, wrote a book about it.
Titled, “Fear No Art,” with a subtitle, “You can do it!” the book is a manual of ideas, lesson plans and creative skills for teaching art.
Reineke should know. After a career teaching pre-school, kindergarten, first grade, elementary and junior high art in public schools she spent the most recent 14 years providing art classes in area retirement communities including Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio.
A candlelight Christmas Eve service at St. John's United Church of Christ will focus on the birth of Christ through scripture readings and carol singing. Holy Communion will be observed, and everyone is welcome to attend.
The service begins at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 24, and opens with a prelude of Christmas piano and organ duets beginning at 3:45 p.m. St. John's United Church of Christ is located at the corner of Jackson Street and College Avenue in Bluffton.
Santa Claus, aka St. Nicholas, aka Kris Kringle, aka Father Christmas has scheduled some quality time in Bluffton during December.
