Seven Bluffton University students who spent last fall semester in Guatemala saw a mixture of beauty and the bleak.

But as they described it to peers and others in a campus forum Feb. 10, the travelers agreed that they were glad they went.

The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center collects Community Market and Great Scott receipts. The center receives 1 percent back on receipts. In 2014 the Center received $200 for its collection efforts.

On Tuesday evening the Augsburger Road forest deer herd had supper on the corn stubble of Judy and Larry Diller's field. This scene, taken with a cell phone from Bentley Road is taken from the east. The Icon counted over 80 deer in the field.

CINCINNATI, Ohio - A Joel Scudder triple with just eight ticks on the clock sent HCAC-leading Mount St. Joseph to a come-from-behind 57-55 win over Bluffton University on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015. The Beavers slipped to 11-11 overall and 7-8 in the Heartland Conference, while MSJ stayed atop the HCAC at 12-3 in the conference and 17-5 overall.
