COLUMBUS--As Ohio residents and visitors make their way to see family and friends this Thanksgiving, Ohio troopers will be making sure motorists are taking the proper safety measures by driving sober, not driving distracted, and wearing their safety belt.
Troopers will be highly visible and cracking down on those driving impaired and those failing to wear a safety belt from Wednesday, November 23 at midnight through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, November 27.

The Board of Education of the Bluffton Exempted Village Schools held a regular meeting in the Elementary Media Center at 7:30 p.m. on November 21, 2022.

Larry Dudgeon, 88, passed away November 17, 2022 in Sebring, Florida. Larry was born June 13, 1934 in Bluffton to the late Melvin and Beulah (Rice) Dudgeon. On March 6, 1970 he married Annetta (Habegger) Dudgeon who preceded him in death on December 20, 2015.
Karl L. Rieman, 89, of Bluffton Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 19, 2022 at his home. Karl was born on August 11, 1933 to the late John and Mary (Maag) Rieman on the family homestead west of Glandorf, Ohio. He married Teresa Ann (Kuhlman) Rieman on July 1, 1961, and she preceded him in death on July 9, 2010.
