Welcome to Saturday morning in downtown Bluffton.

From early May to late October - Bluffton’s Farmers’ Market greets you from 8:30 a.m. to noon in Citizens National Bank parking lot.

In its 11th season, now operated by the Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce, it continues to grow.

Bluffton’s Farmers’ Market offers lots of products to shoppers wanting home-grown veggies, fruit, herbs and flowers.

There’s also coffee, cakes, pies, rolls, maple syrup and lots of in-season garden items.

Bluffton High School launched its first-ever girls' golf team this season and opened play with a win.

BHS opponents were Lima Central Catholic and LIma Senior. Bluffton's team score was 223.

Bluffton High School's boys' golf team opened the 2015 season in the Allen East Invitational on Aug. 11. Here's Bluffton's top three finishers.

1.  Aaron Belcher 76
2.  Tyler McLaughlin 100
3.  Jared Metzger 130
 

Aaron Belcher claimed runner up in the singles score with a final score of 76.

Bluffton Eagle Scout candidate Misha Groman is currently leading his Eagle Scout project at the Benroth Bridge located over Marsh Run near the Buckeye.

He has already had a few work sessions, including one eariler this week when he re-stained and sealed the bridge.

His next work session will be on Saturday. So far, much of the bridge has been power-washed. Graffiti has already been removed. 

In addition, the weeds have been pulled from the stones in the waterway between the Benroth Bridge and the red bridge north to the north.
