Carol Ann Reigle, 79, died June 2, 2013, at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, Toledo. She was born Oct. 12, 1933 in Findlay to the late Harold and Margaret (Gordon) Frontz. On March 28, 1954 she married Clarence D. Reigle and he died June 15, 2001.
Mrs. Reigle retired from Marathon Oil Company, Findlay, and had been a cook at Mt. Cory Middle School. She was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Bluffton, where she was active in the Women’s Bible Study Group. She belonged to the “Gathering Basket” Herb Society and helped form the CCL Club, Bluffton.
On Tuesday Bluffton village officials and interested citizens received an update on Bluffton's Motter Metro Park, which is part of the Johnny Appleseed Park District of Allen County. Over 20 persons attended the meeting in the Bluffton town hall.
Kevin Haver of the Park District thanked the voters who passed the funding that provides for the continued development of one of Bluffton's more lovely natural spaces. Haver explained the history and funding of the park, acreage and how the park got its name.
Apollo Career Center recognized Zachary Justus, Construction and Equipment Technology graduate from Bluffton as the outstanding senior in his career-technical program.
He has been awarded a GROB Systems, Inc./Apollo Educational Foundation Scholarship.
