First National Bank and First National Financial Services will hold a Social Security workshop Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Findlay Inn and Conference Center located at 200 E. Main Cross Street in Findlay.

A Bluffton Food Pantry benefit bake sale will take place from 9 a.m. until items are sold on Saturday, Oct. 10. The bake sale takes place in front of Greg's Pharmacy, 126 N. Main St.

According to Angie Halcomb of Greg's donations and food items for the sale are accepted.

 

It was a parade to remember. The 2015 Bluffton High School homecoming parade on Friday featured countless school groups in an entertaining walk down Main Street. Samantha Fruchey and Misha Groman were crowned queen and king, respectively. 

Bluffton council will hear updates on several fall village projects on Monday. 

Jamie Mehaffie, village administrator, will provide current information on many of those projects. Here's a summary of his anticipated report:

TRS
The village had a preconstruction meeting for the Trihalomethane Removal System project last Thursday. As long as fabrication moves forward as scheduled, the contractors are scheduled to begin the installation of the TRS the last week in October.
