The Bluffton Community Dog Park on Lake St. north of Cobb Lake will be dedicated at an event from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 24. Free human (hot dogs) and from scratch dog treats to the first 100! T-shirts for sale. Twisted on Wheels food truck. To date, volunteer coordinators have raised $50,000 for the development of this facility on Village of Bluffton land.

The 100th edition of the State Route 12 rivalry game between the Pandora-Gilboa High School and Columbus Grove High School football teams did not disappoint. In the annual showdown between the two neighboring schools, the host Rockets came from behind in the second half, to pull out a thrilling 22-21 non-conference win to open the 2025 season.  

Bluffton High School has announced that the August 22 football home opener vs. the Benjamin Logan Raiders will be livestreamed.

There are two documents of supreme importance to American history: the Declaration of Independence, which forged our national identity, and the United States Constitution, which set forth the framework for the federal government that is still in use today. While Independence Day is a beloved national holiday, fewer people know about Constitution Week, an annual commemoration of the living document that upholds and protects the freedoms central to our American way of life. This year the annual celebration begins September 17, 2025. 

CORRECTED START DATE

Ebenezer Mennonite Church, 8905 Columbus Grove Road, will host  the GriefShare Support Group weekly on Thursdays, 7 :00-8:30 p.m. from September 4 through December 4, 2025.

GriefShare is a 13-week, video based support group for those who have lost a loved one. You’ll find it to be a warm, caring environment and will come to see your group as an “oasis” on your long journey through grief.

BOARD MEETING
Festival of Wheels revenue to date of $3,956.02. Ride to Remember revenue to date of $7,557 these funds go to the bike path. Playground pledges and donations to date $205,816.
