I shopped at The Dough Hook...and purchased some Bluffton chamber gift certificates

In the spirit of this year’s Blaze of Lights, the Icon offers viewers a daily local gift idea based upon the 12 Days of Christmas theme. There’s no need to shop out of town or on the internet for Christmas gifts this year.

On the fourth day of Christmas I shopped at...

The Dough Hook, 117 N. Main St.
Here you'll find all sorts of Christmas gifts, including gift cards, meat packages, cases of canned meat, candy and cookie baking kits.

And then I purchased some Blufton chamber gift certificates.

To raise funds for local charities

PromoHits, 141 N. Main St., Bluffton, has committed to donating 5% of its total product sales from January-June 2019 to four local charities, according to Melinda Bowden, owner.

The initiative, titled PromoCares, provides the opportunity for local businesses that purchase products from PromoHits to designate which of the four charities they’d like their purchase to support. There is no extra cost to the business – the donations will solely come from profits PromoHits gains from the sale of its products.
