Dr. Howard Keim, senior lecturer in business at Bluffton University, along with his daughter, Talashia Keim Yoder, will present the Colloquium “A Leader Prepares” at 4 p.m. on April 21 in Centennial Hall’s Stutzman Lecture Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Both presenters have experience as leaders, performers and pastors and have discovered how concepts from these three arenas inform each other. They will share some serendipitous stories of how they have discovered this common ground.

Members of the public are invited to attend a town hall meeting featuring U.S. Congressional Representative Jim Jordan. The event will be held from 6:‐8: p.m. Monday, April 24 in the South Hall of the Veterans Memorial Civic and Convention Center in Lima. The town hall is sponsored by Allen and Hardin for Election Action and Democracy (AHEAD), in partnership with other groups in Representative Jordan’s district.

April 27 at Hancock Historical Museum

First National Financial Services and First National Bank will host an antique appraisal event, Thursday, April 27, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Hancock Historical Museum, 422 W. Sandusky St., Findlay.

The event will feature appraiser Richard E. Stegman who has more than 30 years of experience with antiques, including owner of several antique shops, and was a student of Harry Rinker’s The Institute for the Study of Antiques and Collectibles. 

Ollie Moorer builds outer muscles and inner strength as a Bluffton student

If you ever head to the weight room at Bluffton University's Sommer Center, there’s a good chance you’ll run by Ollie Moorer either lifting weights, working on cardio or even clearing his mind with yoga.

But don’t be intimidated if you hear him looking and sounding like the character Bane from Batman or Darth Vader, as it’s only his endurance mask.
