The Village of Ada is know for the flowering pear trees that line Main Street each April, but the residential sections of town are decked in beauty as well.
New Leaf Landscape and Garden Center, 0395 State Route 235, north of Ada, has all your needs for spring lawns and gardens.
The center has a large selection of nursery stock, flowering plants, trees and shrubs, perennials, vegetable seeds and plants, garden supplies and mulches and soils.

DEFIANCE, Ohio - The Bluffton University baseball team matched up with rival Defiance for the second straight week and although the venue changed the end result was the same as the Beavers dropped a 7-2 decision at Rutter Field. Defiance improved to 10-19 on the season and 7-9 in the Heartland Conference, while Bluffton fell to 11-17 and 4-12 in the HCAC following its ninth straight loss.
Dan Klear of Superior Energy Solutions, Ottawa, updated Bluffton Area Chamber of Commerce members about solar energy options for residences and businesses during Friday's chamber breakfast. Active in Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs, Klear was the first-ever BCE business plan competition winner.
