Gallery 323 is open in December. It features works in an assortment of media by at least a dozen Bluffton area artists.
The gallery, at 323 N. Main St., was launched as a storefront where local artisans could sell their art.
The late Gregg Luginbuhl opened the studio. The Luginbuhl family decided to reopen the gallery for the month of December.
Karen Luginbihl said, “Gregg's wish was to keep the gallery running, and while we don't yet know the long-term plan, we want to give the artists involved a chance to sell their work for the holidays.”
BLUFFTON, Ohio - The first two weeks of basketball have been kind to both the Bluffton University men and women as the Beavers have combined for a perfect 9-0 mark heading into Heartland Conference action on Saturday, Dec. 3. Pandora United Methodist Church will be hold a free community meal on Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 5:30-7 p.m. in the church fellowship hall, 108 E. Washington Street, Pandora. The meal this month is provided by Riley Creek Pharmacy/Pharmacy Solutions. The menu is sloppy joe sandwich, hot dogs, cheesy potatoes, veggie tray, fruit, cookies and hot chocolate.
Also, Santa will visit from 6-7 p.m. Every child will get their picture taken with Santa and receive a gift from Santa. First National Bank will have cookies to decorate and crafts for kids!
Riley Creek United Methodist Church invites the community to its 45th annual Christmas carol sing on Sunday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m., at the church, 7102 Putnam County Road M, Ottawa, according to Rev. Duane Kemerley, pastor.
The program features congregational singing of many traditional carols, as well as readings from scripture about Jesus’ birth, special performances by the Pandora United Methodist Church choir, Ottawa Saints Peter and Paul choir, other musicians, and a candle lighting ceremony.
