MEDIA RELEASE__Bluffton High School is pleased to announce that junior Kate Klinger has been selected as the 2026 March Student of the Month. Kate is the daughter of Wesley and Mandy Klinger of Bluffton.

Excelling in the classroom, Kate maintains an impressive 4.00 GPA, and a member of the National Honor Society. She has been recognized by Bluffton Schools for her educational achievements, earning academic awards in Latin I, Health, World History and Principles of Food/Personal Wellness.

FROM HANCOCK COUNTY SHERIFF FACEBOOK__On 3/3026 at approx. 1530 hours, the Hancock County METRICH Drug Task Force assisted by the Hancock County Sheriff's Office, conducted a prostitution sting at the Fairway Inn, 855 OH-103, Bluffton, Ohio.

This operation yielded a large amount of suspected liquid methamphetamine, 88 tablets of LSD, 6 Schedule II pills, 1 gun, and drug paraphernalia.

As a result of the operation, the following person was arrested and incarcerated at the Hancock County Justice Center:

Homeless
Findlay, Ohio

MEDIA RELEASE__Brian Polian, vice president for athletics and national engagement at John Carroll University, will present the Athletic Awards Forum, “Ahead of the Game: Your Successful Skill Set,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, in Yoder Recital Hall.

Polian will discuss preparation for success in athletics and in life, highlighting skills that translate beyond competition.

The Forum is free and open to the public.
