A free monthly networking opportunity called The Business Collective has been created at 1861 Wine Lounge by promoter Kiley Rutzler. On Thursday, April 2, some 20 business owners and managers attended with casual networking, introductions and a presentation by Nicole Scott of the Small Business Development Center at Rhodes State.
The networking opportunity will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month at 115 N. Main St. Participants received a follow-up email with contact information for others who attended.

Visit with school families and learn more about tuition assistance and the Ohio EdChoice program which will decrease and, in many cases eliminate tuition costs for students in kindergarten-8th grade. Tuition assistance is also available for Preschool students.
Free sandwiches, chips, cookies, and drinks will be available from 5:00-6:00 PM.
Barbara S. Parkins, 87, passed away April 4, 2026, at the Meadows of Delphos. Barbara was born January 18, 1939, in Beaverdam to the late John and Louise (Kirkendall) Manahan.
