Historical items, like this horse cookie cutter, are on exhibit in the Bluffton Public Library display case this month. The exhibit includes 40 items once common on farms surrounding Bluffton, including a hay carrier sling release, cow milking chain, bull nose ring, reaping hook an oxen horn ball.
Ava Schleeter, Bluffton first grader, created this art piece, which is on display this month at the Bluffton Public Libary. March is student art month and the library has an exhibit of student art from Bluffton and Cory-Rawson.
Book discussions, jammin’ at the library, mobile labs and lots more is on the Bluffton Public Library April calendar, according to Jessica Hermiller, library administrator.

On Saturday, April 3 at 11 a.m., Paws to Read with Tango. Tango is a certified therapy dog who loves to help children read. Children may take turns reading some of their favorite stories to her.

Spanish Club: Meet at Tu Pueblo Monday, March 31. All BHS students are welcome. Spanish Club will also wear their t-shirts on Thursday, April 3, for a yearbook photo.
Music Booster Spring Chicken BBQ & Concert: The Chicken/Shrimp BBQ & concert will be held on Friday, March 28, in the middle school cafetorium and gymnasium. Stop in the Middle School office to purchase your tickets. Tickets are $8.
The Bluffton Senior Citizens Center and Lion’s Club Foundation are ready to serve you all the pancakes you can eat.
The 32nd annual pancake and sausage benefit is Saturday, March 29, from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Senior Center, 132 N. Main St.
The meal includes all the pancakes you can eat, whole hog sausage, applesauce, and coffee, tea, milk or juice. Tickets are $6.50 and children through 5 years of age are free with a paying adult.
