Stratton Greenhouses invite Icon viewers to its spring open house Friday through Sunday, May 4-5-6. The popular greenhouse at 9915 Lincoln Highway is open Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays in May.
During the open house a free tomato plant comes with every purchase. Free garden gloves come with every purchase $150 purchase. Strattons has its typical outstanding selection of specialty plants including many hanging baskets in all sizes.
"Serendipity," the St. John's United Church of Christ May newsletter is now avialable for Icon viewers. It lists recent activities of the congregation and events taking place in May, according to Rev. Carole Clements, pastor.
