For anyone wanting to know the importance of the Triplett Corporation in Bluffton, simply look over the following list.

The list is reprinted from an April 1945 Triplett company newsletter. This list is also published in the book "A Good Place To Miss, Bluffton Stories - 1900-1975."

The book is released by The Icon and is on sale for $13.95 at Greg's Pharmacy, Bluffton Senior Citizens Center, Common Grounds, Book Reviews and the Bluffton University bookstore.

The Icon spotted this amateur radio operator's special plate on Main Street.

Chris Heffner was named the Mennonite Memorial Home employee of the month for October.

Heffner has worked at the Mennonite Memorial Home since 2005 as a LPN. Her supervisor commented that "she works full time and takes special interest in visiting with them and truly getting to know the elders. She can be found singing with them and has facilitated ways where they can benefit others. Her efforts are seen as providing meaning and quality of life to the elders." Heffner lives in Ottawa.

In response to requests for pastoral education related to domestic violence, Blanchard Valley Hospital's Spiritual Care Education Series is sponsoring a full day pastoral educational event: Pastoral Response to Domestic Violence
