Tom Suter of Suter's Produce gets more "a mazing" each year.

Suter's Produce corn maze takes on an American Indian look this year, according to Jerry and Nancy Suter. Tom designed the maze. All events are located on the Allen-Putnam County Line Road (Road R) between Phillips (Road 4), and Pandora Road (Road 5).

Maze prices:
Adults, $6
Students (K-college), $4.50

The popular corn maze is now open weekends:
Saturdays 1-8 p.m.
Sundays 1-8 p.m.
++Last admission at 7 p.m.

Much that's old (and historical) and some that is new will be featured this year at the Bluffton-Pandora Swiss Community Historical Society's Fall Festival celebration on Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Schumacher Farmstead at 8350 Bixel Road.

Held annually, this event is part of the Bluffton community-wide Fall Festival celebration. New at the Homestead this year will be an Indian village, a Swiss chorus, a lecture on medicinal herbs, and the newly restored woodworking shop and flagstone floors and walkways.

Flu shots will be available in Bluffton on Thursday, Oct. 13, according to the Allen County Health Department. Shot are available for persons 6 months and older.

Shots will be given at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center from 9-10:30 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 13.

Shots will also be given in Lima at the health department Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8-0 a.m. and from 3-4 p.m. beginning Sept. 21.
