Looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season, the Pirate boys soccer team was surprised by visiting Ada Tuesday night. The Bulldogs took a 1-0 halftime lead which did not last long.
There's no question that Conrad Zemba owns more vehicles than any other Bluffton resident.
In fact, he owns an estimated 1,300 or so. They just happen to be Matchbox cars. He displayed many of his vehicles at the Bluffton Senior Citizens Center during the Fall Festival.

Several area school districts including Bluffton have received funding for School Safety Training Grants, asccording to State Representative Bob Cupp (R-Lima). The grants are through a provision of Amended Substitute House Bill 318

PrimeTimers luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 2, beginning at noon at St. John Mennonite Church, 15988 Road 4, Pandora. PrimeTimers is a monthly gathering for those 55+ and includes a free lunch, fellowship and entertainment. ACE Basketball will be featured.
This month’s menu includes: Mixed green salad with maple dressing, cranberry apple stuffed chicken, mashed potatoes, buttered corn, dinner rolls, pumpkin crisp and coffee. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are accepted.
The Blanchard River Watershed has received word that the U.S. EPA in Chicago has given their final approval to the nine element non-point source implementation strategy plan (NPS-IS Plan) written for the Marsh Run-Little Riley Creek watershed in Allen County, according to Phil Martin, director of the watershed.
The EPA requires that there be an approved NPS-IS Plan written for each 12-digit HUC watershed before that watershed can receive federal funding. There are 30 HUC-12 watersheds in the Blanchard River Watershed.
