It was no surprise that Mitt Romney won the majority of votes in Bluffton and Richland Township on Nov. 6. Both those bodies have voted Republican since the 1932 presidential election.

Here are votes by precinct in the presidential race, Ohio senate race and the Apollo levy.

Groves Quality Collectibles and Antiques, 204 N. Main St., Bluffton, is open for business.  The store was closed as a result of the unexpected death of owner, Robin Wilch. The store has reopened and is managed by Eric DeWitt. Store hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The employees at Mennonite Home Health and Senior Services are joining home health care providers across Ohio and the nation in marking November as National Home Care and Hospice Month.

“Home care allows patients to be cared for in the comfort of their own homes, regardless of their medical condition, so that they can be close to their loved ones,” said Kathy Rode R.N., Director of Mennonite Home Health and Senior Services.

Once, during an early morning trip to the Bluffton Hospital ER, I heard Ropp Triplett’s voice in  the room next door. I was in Room 1. He was in Room 2.

“What are you doing here?” I asked.

His reply: I have a part in a play at the Bluffton sesquicentennial.  Someone told me to break a leg. So, I did.”
