Junior shortstop Caylin Morstadt (Delaware/Rutherford B. Hayes) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Hitter of the Week for the second time in three weeks!

IVAULT is on a black Jeep and belongs to a member of the ONU women's track and field team who is a pole vaulter.

Presentation at next Gardeners club meeting on April 2

The next Gardeners of the Bluffton Pandora Area meeting is Monday, April 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Bluffton Public Library, in the lower meeting room. Laurie Laird from New Leaf Garden Center will give a presentation on garden planning, for both spring vegetable and flower gardens. This event is free and open to the public.

The Pirate baseball  team droped the opener 13-1 to McComb on Monday. Back in action Tuesday at Carey.

Lady Pirate defeat McComb 7-6 with home runs from Katie Prater and Libby Schaadt.

Bluffton boys’ tennis team defeated Bath 3-2.

52nd juried student exhibit opens April 1

The Bluffton University art department will present the 52nd Juried Student Exhibition from April 1-May 5 in the Grace Albrecht Gallery in Sauder Visual Arts Center. The exhibition, which is free and open to the public, will showcase work created this academic year by students in university art classes or supervised independent studies.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 1-5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
