Here's a view of the dance floor at Bluffton Family Recreation's dad and daughter dance held Saturday. Nearly 90 dancers attended. A video and photos are here.

Dads and girls just want to have fun

Yes, they danced the night away.

Nearly 90 dancers  – dads of all ages and daughter ranging from 3 to 12 (?) – hit the dance floor and never stopped on Saturday evening at Bluffton Family Recreation.

Dancers from Bluffton, Pandora, Lima, Jenera and elsewhere showed up with at the first-ever dad and daughter dance at BFR.

Ron Koontz provided the music. The photos and video below tell the story much better than the Icon's words. Please view the photos and watch the video for a beter taste of the evening. (We identified dancers when we recognized them.)

The newsletter updates residents on the National Blue Ribbon Award received by the elementary school, provides a list of senior citizen breakfast programs this spring and includes school year-end dates.
